October 7, 2024 - One Year Later

Grief - for the deaths of Israel's victims of One Year Ago today are Real and Important!

Where is the Similar Grief for the Thousands of Gazan Children?

Where is the Similar Grief - as well as Anger - at the appropriations of Land and Killings and Wounding of Palestinian People on the West Bank?

Why Do Jewish - Israeli Lives Matter, BUT Palestinian Lives Rarely, if at all, Matter?

Why Do "we" say - that October 7, 2023 - was HORRIFIC - WHICH it was, 

AND

NOT - Similarly say:   Great Britain - in 1917 - The Balfour Declaration - had 

NO Right - to say that a Jewish State would be created in Palestine?

In 1917 - Palestine - was still part of the Ottoman Empire - Great Britain didn't even have control of Palestine in 1917?

Iran - is "THE" Enemy today!   How Many of us - know that in 1953 - The United States had a HUGE part in the overthrowing of the Democratically Elected Iranian Government?    Following this, The Shah of Iran - became the leader - beholden to the United States- Oil - Oil - Oil

Israel - is the last of the "Colonial States" dating back to the 1800's -  It is Different than other oppressive States  - it is NOT singled out - "Irrationally".    The rest of the oppressive states - and there are Many - don't date to the Colonialism of the 1800's - which has carried on to the Present.

ISRAEL - is NOT - in Danger of being - WIPED OUT!   Israel has plenty of Nuclear Bombs - which it will use, if "necessary" to "Protect" itself!   Israel has one of the Strongest Military Forces - in the World.   

The U.S. - is 100% Behind Israel!   The U.S. is the strongest Power in the World!

WHY - do WE - and I do mean WE - The U.S. support Israel 100%?????

It is 100% WRONG - on ethical Grounds!

It is also nearly 100% WRONG - strategically - considering - Military Control and "World Control".

MOST - the the world's Governments do NOT support the U.S.!!!!

Where - do Palestinian- Lives and People Matter?

I - am an Outlier!

I do NOT believe- My Life - My Existence - matters more than - anyone in Gaza, nor The West Bank, nor Israel, Nor Lebanon, nor Iran!   

Fear - and Lasting Peace - will never come from the U.S. paying for and allowing for the Genocide continuing!    This Genocide - and it is Genocide - is MORE HORRIBLE - than all that I've seen in my lifetime (I wasn't alive in 1945!)!

Peace - can only be found - through Love and Caring - NOT through Hatred - coming out of Our Fear!

Peace Now - is important - a Beginning of Peace - it will take longer to build a Lasting Peace- and finally HOPEFULLY - a Truly Just World!

Big Girls Don't Cry

BIG GIRLS DON'T CRY My father (Menachem) Imanuel Marx died Friday, November 13, 1964, when I was 13 years old.    My mother woke my brother and I up with the news early that morning.    We went to the hospital and saw him for the last time. I didn’t cry then.       Daniel and I went to school that day.   I didn’t tell anyone. Two days later at the funeral, I was still being “a man” (i.e. not crying).   Until I was in my second men’s group around age 31, I didn’t allow myself to cry .    I rationalized this by saying to myself:   “ How does x compare with the death of my father ?”.
