Jo Jo Rabbit

Jo Jo Rabbit emotionally grabbed me from the beginning of the movie.  Initially - seeing  the Swastikas and hearing the clearly satirical Nazi propaganda - totally hit me in the gut.   As the plot in the  movie developed, my emotions shifted dramatically.    During the last half hour or so of the movie I cried a lot.   I rarely cry during movies, but I just felt a lot.

The movie really made me feel my Jewishness!   Normally, being Jewish is in the background of my consciousness.    Humanity and "reality"  in totally bizarre situations pushed at my feelings a lot.

Virtually all of the characters were both humorous and at another level very serious.   The dialog was both very scary in moments, and very, very funny in others.

This is a highly unusual movie that I strongly recommend!
