Can You See The Sun?

The sun is shining brightly

through the storm clouds

threatening to hide it

from you


You are facing

Stormy Weather

raging all around you


Will you find a way

to filter

That which elusively

pushes and pulls

Threateningly


The sun is so bright

but

not as intense

as the clouds

pushing and pulling

Through the heavens


You can

and I hope will

Celebrate the sun

through pushing through

That which grabs at you

in the night

Trying to tell you

that there is no

Morning ahead


You have to Believe

and

Follow your Dreams

Ahead

BIG GIRLS DON'T CRY My father (Menachem) Imanuel Marx died Friday, November 13, 1964, when I was 13 years old.    My mother woke my brother and I up with the news early that morning.    We went to the hospital and saw him for the last time. I didn’t cry then.       Daniel and I went to school that day.   I didn’t tell anyone.
