Palestine – Resistance or Fascism?

We obviously face a serious danger of rising Fascism in the U.S. today!   It seems obvious that Donald Trump and the Republicans will almost certainly:

1.      Come up with a “Crisis” to cancel the 2026 National Elections if they think that they will lose Congressional Control, and/or

2.      If the National Elections are held in 2026 and there is evident “defeat” in the House and/or Senate races – they will not only speak of “voter fraud”, but will also delay the Seating of newly elected Democrats and/or others who aren’t Republican through Court Challenges and/or determinations that particular representatives’ districts need to have a new/re-election.   If they can, such delays will persist for years.  Meanwhile, The Republicans will maintain 100% control

3.      Use The Supreme Court and other key courts which are likely to at best tame/limit the Republican causes only in rare and/or limited ways,

4.      Act Recklessly – through wars and missile attacks, threats of nuclear war and similar

5.     Use religion, clearly Racist Attacks, clearly corrupt – self-serving – conflicts of interest and more, such as recently have been significant extortion – such as DEI/Immigrant/Public Schools/Major University threats and similar to maintain control.

Meanwhile the Democratic Party Politicians and their Supporters will remain inept, often divided and similar – with the sole exception being seeking money from us – consistently.   Those who speak out – will be a distinct minority.

Absent serious Resistance from a minimum of at least 3 ½ % of adults, the Fall of 2026 (at the latest) is likely to be the time when our privileged selves – those of us who are white and upper-middle-class – will be Stuck and Deeply Impacted by Fascism.

Donald Trump and the Republicans have been quite effective so far, despite inane, horrible efforts such as the recently passed “Big Beautiful Bill” (sic/sick)!   Their efforts have been quite successful, given the repeated lies, exploitation of the vast majority of us, and obvious distortions of reality.

Recently there were a tremendous number of “No Kings Protests” held in much of The United States (and even in other countries).    Momentum was building.   People were organizing  resistance in a multitude  The efforts went well beyond the major cities, generally the hotbeds of “liberal” actions.

Missile attacks on Iran were quite effective in an important way!    They caused serious damage in Iran, though they hardly impacted the purported intended goals.   Where were the Democrats ?   Intelligence information put forth by The Trump Administration had clearly stated that there was no danger of Iran building its first atomic weaponry in the short-term.

A significant majority of the Democratic Party Politicians and mainstream media such as MSNBC and CNN united behind the Lies of The Trump Administration.   Alternate media pointed out how The Iranians were smart enough to pre-emptively protect most, if not all, of their important materials for potentially creating nuclear bombs.  

More significantly, The Iranian Leadership – had a perfect example of how they can’t trust Donald Trump,   He ordered the attack while negotiations with Iran were going on (and not seemingly failing).  Libya’s horrible leader trusted The West in not developing Nuclear Bombs, and was subsequently attacked and killed – when promises to him were not honored.   North Korea’s position – contrastingly – has shifted greatly since it developed its own Nuclear Bombs in recent years.   The U.S. leadership under both Biden and Trump no longer threatens North Korea – because their former enemy now has  has effective deterrence.

The Trump Administration is either Stupid, or more likely Strategic – in making it more likely that Iran will develop Nuclear Weaponry.    Its leadership – knows that it can’t trust Trump and his core leaders – and now has broken away from International Supervision.   Iran – had signed on to International Inspections.   Israel – has never allowed such Inspections.

The Missile Attacks – divided the Democrats – most of whom are not attacking Trump related to Iran, despite the Obvious Deception and Lies.   MSNBC and CNN – rarely, if ever, note such realities with their "experts".

The Momentum – building from The No Kings Marches – has dissipated.

Who is “SMART”?

We talk a lot about “International Law” – when it benefits us – and conveniently ignore it – when its seemingly not useful for The Wealthy Democrats (, ignoring Republicans and Trump for a moment).   We block The U.N. – repeatedly, when it doesn’t Unilaterally support Israel.

When – when – do we focus on how – we are subsidizing Boeing, Lockheed, as well as Google, and Bezos and Zuckerberg – the Military Establishment and even key voices of Social Media – with Billions of Dollars in profits?

We focus on impending Medicaid cuts, but ignore – who is profiting today!   Weaponry has been tested on Gaza – to show its effectiveness (or not) – profiting the Stockholders of our Defense Contractors.

Divisions – among us are profitable, both literally in Money terms, as well as in effectively Silencing us – through Fear, Deception, and our continued endorsement – of Israel’s Mission – as “The Democracy” of The Middle East.   Israel is a Democracy for its Jews, but not its Palestinian citizens.   How many of The “Good Christians” – even know that Israel has Christian Citizens – Palestinian Natives of hundreds of years.

After October 7, 2023 – Repeated Messaging talked of:

1.)    The Rapes – of Israeli (Jewish) Women – by the Hamas Invaders (Men), and

2.)     The deliberate Killing of Babies

Research – those issues no!  The killing of babies – has clearly been an intention of the Israeli Military – rather than the Palestinians/Hamas.   Few, if any, babies were deliberately killed.   The rapes and sexual abuse have similarly come – from Israeli Jews.    Sexual abuse is a tactic – dehumanized Israeli Jews – may have felt traumatized – by October 7^th, but Revenge – is dominant now – and has been since at least October 8^th.

Israel is Vulnerable and it no longer feels – “Safe” from the Palestinian People.

Israel’s Leadership – doesn’t want to Eliminate Hamas – at all!   It wants a clear enemy – and HAMAS is it.

Palestine – and Hamas – served as a weapon for Joe Biden – and with Donald Trump and The Republicans – we either are manipulating Israel – or more likely its leadership is manipulating us!

Fascism is becoming more and more likely!   We are being manipulated related to Israel – further dividing us!   Similarly – we are manipulated concerning Immigrants – and their purported “DANGER!”   Ironically – Latina/Latino – People supported (and some still support) the lies of Donald Trump!

Let’s wake up!   Fears coming out of Hatred – continue to divide us!   The Confederate Flag represents Slavery – despite continued denials that the Civil War – was related to ending Slavery and that That Flag – is oppressive.

Israel’s first Nobel Laureate was my Great Uncle – (my grandfather’s sister’s husband).   The most “intelligent” members of my American family – one recently deceased and one very much alive – are/were ardent Zionists.  

I hope – that others – will stop believing the lies we are fed!
